This is a my 'On the Go' breakfast jar that is packed full of protein and omega's that will keep you going until lunchtime.
Mix all the dry ingredients together, pop a lid on it and take it with you until you're ready to have breakfast!
It can be topped with your favourites, I love blueberries because they are rich in antioxidants. I have also added some of my maple caramelised nuts, these add the sweetness so not necessary to add anything else.
I use almond milk but you can use hot water, soy or normal milk. The choice is yours!
Ingredients
1 jam jar with lid
1/2 cup quinoa flakes
1 scoop hemp protein powder
1 tbsp pumpkin seeds
1 tbsp sunflower seeds
1 tsp chia seeds
1 tsp cinnamon powder
1 tsp coconut palm sugar crystals (optional)
Pinch of himalayan salt
Method
Mix all ingredients together
Heat 1 cup of almond milk in a pan and pour onto the mixture stirring well.
Top with blueberries and caramelised nuts and enjoy!
