Here are some of the families favourite dipping sauce recipes, these are perfect for Vietnamese Summer Rolls, Pan Fried Chilli Prawn Kebabs or Mini Spicy Chicken Bites. They are also great to tszuj up simple steamed Asparagus or Tenderstem Broccoli.
2 tbsp white miso paste – I use Clear Spring Sweet Miso
2 tbsp Almond Butter
Pinch of sea salt
¼ cup boiling water
Whisk together all ingredients, taste. Keep in jam jar until needed
Lime & Chilli Sauce
1 tbsp Raw Honey or Maple Syrup
2 tbsp Lime Juice
1 clove of garlic, crushed
1 tbsp fish sauce
1 red chilli, sliced
Mix everything together in a jam jar and keep in the fridge.
Vegan Coriander & Yoghurt
2/3 cup of coconut yoghurt
¼ cup coriander
2 spring onions, roughly chopped
¼ cup freshly squeezed lime juice
½ green jalapeno, chopped
½ cup extra virgin olive oil
½ tsp sea salt
1 tbsp maple syrup
Combine all ingredients in a blender and whiz until smooth, keep in a jam jar and will last up to a week in the fridge. Great as a crudité dip.
Tamari & Lime
1 tbsp Tamari sauce
2 tbsp freshly squeezed lime juice
1 tbsp chopped coriander
1 tsp finely sliced red chilli
Mix everything together – great on pan fried or roasted fish!
